On this day last year, Jason and I were holding hands just him and I and awaiting the arrival of our daughter. We had SEVERAL hours of waiting and contractions and waiting to find out that I needed to have a C-Section and at 8:16pm Chloe Marie was born weighing in at 7lbs 4 ozs. She was so beautiful with her head full of hair. She was perfect - 10 fingers and 10 toes and a beautiful tan skin. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen! It amazes me how she can make you laugh and cry in the same moment!
She is so curious about the world and her environment. She loves to eat big people food and has pretty much given up on the baby food. She takes bites off of bananas, cookies, hamburgers and hot dogs, but doesn't like juice. We have been giving her tastes of whole milk in her sippy cup, but she doesn't care for it. Uh-Oh because she is NOT going to be on formula much longer.
Looking back, this year has been amazing. There has been a lot of changes in the Barnett household as I am sure alot of you are aware by viewing Jason's Blog.

You are welcome and thanks for the compliment. After my own daughter and 3 grand-daughters, Chloe is one of the sweetest little girls I know. She is a delight, and it was my pleasure to help capture this moment in time. As your memory fades, hopefully the pictures will help you and Jason remember your beautiful daughter when she was small. Love and enjoy her while you can, they grown so fast. We love all of you too.

Happy 1st Birthday little one. You are our delight and the bright spot of my day when we can spend the day together. I have loved spending so much time with you this summer. To see you explore your world and to experience all things new and beautiful is all I have ever dreamed. I love playing the piano with you and swimming in our "cool pool", playing blocks, giggling and chasing, going outdoors for a walk and just watching you to see what you will do next! Your expressions are priceless and when you jabber on and on I almost feel I know exactly what you are saying! Chloe, you are a precious gift to us just like your wonderful mother. We are blessed.
