Update on Me!

So now that I am 1 I have finished all of my formula and now am drinking milk. At first I didn't like milk, but then Mama found some Carnation Instant Breakfast and put that in my milk and now I love milk. It is almost like a milkshake.

Tomorrow starts the Hamilton County 4-H Fair and I get to enjoy my first grilled cheese and milk shake. I can't wait. Mommy and Daddy have been going every year since they have been together.

On Friday, I go to my 1 year doctors appt and hopefully I will be over the 20 lb mark so Mommy and Daddy can turn my car seat around and I can watch out the front window to where we go.

This is me with my birthday tiara. I hated it on. Good thing Mommy didn't spend a lot of money on it.

Well, I think that is all for now. Sorry no major milestones happening, but I continue to learn new words and love my TUPPERWARE!!!

Love to all,
Chloe

Happy Birthday Elle!

Happy Birthday Elle! This is my friend who my mommy and daddy met her mommy and daddy, Stephanie and Bryce, when they were in a childbirth class together. We are both honeymoon babies. We were supposed to be a week apart (with Elle born first), but I decided to make my debut 2 days before Elle. It was fun! Stephanie came up and saw me the day that I was born and we were there just moments after beautiful Elle made her debut to this world.

Happy Birthday Elle!

Happy Birthday Chloe!

Today Chloe turns 1! Last night when we were playing and watching a movie, I was thinking back a year ago and what we were doing at different times of that night. I woke up this morning and realized that I am so blessed to have such a beautiful, smart daughter and the most wonderful husband in the world. I wouldn't change my life for anything else in this world. Chloe has made my life whole and complete.

On this day last year, Jason and I were holding hands just him and I and awaiting the arrival of our daughter. We had SEVERAL hours of waiting and contractions and waiting to find out that I needed to have a C-Section and at 8:16pm Chloe Marie was born weighing in at 7lbs 4 ozs. She was so beautiful with her head full of hair. She was perfect - 10 fingers and 10 toes and a beautiful tan skin. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen! It amazes me how she can make you laugh and cry in the same moment!

She is so curious about the world and her environment. She loves to eat big people food and has pretty much given up on the baby food. She takes bites off of bananas, cookies, hamburgers and hot dogs, but doesn't like juice. We have been giving her tastes of whole milk in her sippy cup, but she doesn't care for it. Uh-Oh because she is NOT going to be on formula much longer.

Looking back, this year has been amazing. There has been a lot of changes in the Barnett household as I am sure alot of you are aware by viewing Jason's Blog.

Here are some current photos of Chloe that were taken on Saturday by Drew's dad, Don Thompson. He is a fantastic photographer and this is his passion. Thank you Don for capturing our little girl in her moments of life. We love you!

Love always and forever, Chloe!
Your Momma,
Corinne

11 Months and Counting!!!!

Here I am with Nana and her friend, Susie and Emma. We went downtown Indianapolis and were at the Starwberry Festival. It was a lot of fun. Aunt Traci and Mason went too! Emma is 6 months YOUNGER than me and she gave me clothes to wear. Thanks, Emma!

Did you know that Kya's cage was fun to play in. I realized that I can stand up in it. Here I am walking out of it.

This is my boyfriend, Carter, and I. He was feeding me. Isn't that a great boyfriend. We are at the Indianapolis Indians game together. It was our first time there.

Mommy thinks I look like a mature Little Girl here. I am wearing my boyfriend's, Carter, hat. He was really busy at that moment so I was able to snatch it and put it on.

Did you know you can fit your thumb and big toe in your mouth at the same time?!? Oh yeah, I love those Sweet Potatoes!

A Lot Going ON!!!

So we sold our old house in 3 WEEKS! and now we are in this new house (for a little while until we have to move again in a couple of weeks because this one sold too!) and I am a little disappointed. I don't have any stairs to climb in the house and I don't have anything pretty on the walls in my room or in the rest of the house for that matter. But the cool thing is I can walk from one end of the house to the other and stay up on my feet. I am really getting this walking thing down. It is so much faster to get around. Yesterday I got to spend the day with my Grandma cause she is laid up due to a broken foot. I went in the "Cool Pool" as they call their hot tub. It was fun! I get to spend the day with her on Wednesday too. I am learning a lot of words too. I can say, "Go,Go,Go" and "Cool"! Oh yeah, I know the word Uh-Oh and I even throw my hands and arms out too. I am growing very fast. I think I am going to get my first official haircut for my first birthday. My hair is really getting in my eyes. Maybe Mommy will take me to see Denise - she is a FABULOUS hair dresser - she does Mommy's hair. All I know is I will NEVER go to see my Daddy's hair dresser - have you seen his head! WOW is all I can say to that head!

I can't wait to move in to our new house. I will have a big bedroom, my own bathroom, LOTS OF STAIRS TO CLIMB, and my very own play room. I am so excited about the basement - which I am not too sure I am going to like - something about "Daddy's Space" - I don't know. Anyways, wish us well. Hopefully Mommy and Daddy can get more pictures of me up on my own blog. There are tons of pictures of me at the Zoo with Papa and Bec and also pictures of me within the last week or so doing misc stuff.

Love and Kisses and Hugs to Everyone!

AND WE ARE WALKING!!!

So I am starting to walk. I can take a few steps here and there. It is fun. I am realizing that I can go from point A to point B faster by walking or crawling REALLY fast. Mommy and Daddy are really busy right now packing everything, but I am sure they are going to get a few pictures of me walking soon. Please look for them!!!

I also am getting 2 more teeth. That makes 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.

Love to all!

Hello to all!

Mommy got me waving. I wanted to say hello to Nana, Aunt Traci, Uncle Ninny and Cousin Mason. I love you and miss you so much. I will see you in a week!

Swimming Pools are FUN!

So here I am in the swimming pool first thing this morning (6am). Mommy, Daddy, Grampa and I all went swimming in the pool. It was like bath water. Mommy and Daddy put me in this lady bug thing and I got to play with all my toys. It was so much fun. I splashed and got my face all wet. I can't wait to go back to the pool - maybe later on tonight.

I get to meet all of my mommy's family this afternoon. There will be more pictures to come!

Have fun - High today in Phoenix-95 degrees!

Love,
Chloe

Arizona Here I Come!

That is right. I am getting ready to get on another big airplane and fly down to Arizona to meet my Great Uncle Dan, Great Aunt Diane and my cousins Sandy, Tanner and Taylor. I have never met them before and neither has my daddy. Granma and Granpa and Uncle Ben are flying down with us. My Great Uncle Doug and Great Aunt Mary are going to meet us down there too. Daddy just looked at the weather for Phoenix and it is going to be in the 90s (which is a DRY heat) the entire week we are going to be there. I will be experiencing my first time in a swimming pool (outside of mommy's tummy) and I can't wait. I know I will love it because I LOVE bath time. So I am sure mommy will put a ton of new pictures up on my blog throughout the week. Wish us a good time!

Love,
Chloe

What Happened to my Toys

So if you haven't seen my daddy's blog...you need to check it out.

All of my toys are put in this big HUGE grey plastic thingy that has a lid and I can only play with them when my mommy, daddy, or nana are around. Even Kya's toys are put away. This is all I have left. Please help us sell our home so I can play with my toys in my play room whenever I want. Don't I look pitiful?!?!

That's right everyone. Our house is officially on the market. We are trying to sell our home so we can build less than half a mile east of where we live now. We are hoping to grow our family within the next year or so and are in need of the room. If you know anyone that is looking for a beautiful home on a wonderful cul-de-sac, please refer them to us. Thanks and WISH US LUCK!

All the love from the Barnett's!!!

Stairs and Steps

I found out that if I climb these things in the house, I can make it to the second level. I love to climb the stairs. Dada put this jail thing up (Baby Gate) and now I can't climb them unless they are with me. I think when I climb the stairs it makes Nana nervous. It is kind of funny!

I can also walk with assistance. I need to hold onto fingers or balance myself between the couch and end table, but I can take some steps. I don't like to be IN my exersaucer anymore, but I love to climb underneath it. It is my own little fort.

Mama will put some pictures up on here to show you all the new gadgets that are in the house. Yeah fun!

Kisses and Hugs to everyone,
Chloe

STANDING...WITHOUT ASSISTANCE!

Here I am holding onto my car that sings and talks to me. It is really cool. It helps me "walk" behind it. Well actually, I try to take a step and then fall behind it and scoot it back towards me so I can push the buttons and make it sing and talk to me....

And now I can stand without anyone holding onto my hands. I am very good at pulling myself up to a stand also. And last night I went from a squat to a standing position. I am growing!!!!

That is all the exciting news for now, Mama needs to get back to work!
Love to all,
Chloe

Biter Biscuits Time

Here I am getting ready to have a Biter Biscuit. These are really hard cookies that can get a little on the messy side....

Just nawing away, little by little, I know I can get through this cookie.

This eatin' thing is really tiring!

Just cheesin it for the camera....

Yup still eating it...I have a little bit left...

ALL GONE!

This Past Weekend!

Friday was so beautiful. Mama needed to get some photos of me. Here I am in the grass. It is still a little prickly.

LOOK AT MY HAIR!! AHHHH

Relaxing is very important when taking a bath!

I am such a busy little girl. There are so many toys to play with in my Duckie Tub.

I am just so darn cute!

Love and Kisses - Oh yeah, I can wave hello and good bye to everyone too, but Mama and Dada haven't taken a picture of me doing that yet...

2 Weeks Worth

So once again, Mama is a slacker. There has been a lot of goings on within the past 2 weeks. A double ear infection starts it off. My first ear infection never completely cleared up and then it went into my other ear. That really hurt. Now I am pulling myself up, whether it is in my crib or up on the coffee table. I am even "attempting" a step, but I seem to fall down on my butt. I LOVE to crawl. I can get into any nook or cranny. I try to get onto the lower shelf under the coffee table, but I seem to keep bumping my head. Oh well.

Last night, I pulled over Dada's trash can in his office and started pushing it around and I tried to "walk" behind it...man the floor is slippery. I am back on my old eating schedule. I didn't eat alot when I had my ear infections, but I ate 5 jars of #2 foods yesterday along with all my bottles. I love to eat.

I was weighed at the doctor's office last week and I weigh in at a wopping 16 lbs 3 ozs. I am getting really strong and am getting a little stubborn too. I found my voice - screaming is fun and gets lots of peoples attention.

A couple of weeks ago, Grampa had surgery on his shoulder. He is doing very well now and loves to hold me and give me kisses. Gramma loves to hold me and give me kisses too and steal me away from Grampa...They are so funny!

I love to explore and find Mama, Dada, and Nana saying this word NO alot. I don't understand, but it is really funny when I go to grab at the entertainment center door and look back and there they are saying that word and then come and get me and tickle me and make me giggle. They are a funny bunch!

A couple of weekends ago, I got to see my old friend Elle. We went to this mall outside and walked around and had lunch together. She is growing up so fast, it is like I am stuck in "munchkin" mode. Man, I hope I get some height soon, otherwise I am going to be in 3-6 month clothes forever. Last night, we went out to dinner with my boyfriend Carter, he is getting so cute. His head still looks like Dada's. Carter's mommy, Aunt Alyssa, wanted me to give Carter some of my hair to make his a mini toupee. Aunt Alyssa, I think Carter is cute with Dada's haircut. According to Dada, it is really easy to manage. I love you Carter!

I heard Mama and Dada talking about a trip on an airplane soon. I love flying! I think we are going to go to Arizona to see Mama's family. That is somewhere I haven't been yet. That should be a blast. We will keep you updated.

I think that is all for now....I will keep you updated with pics...I am turning 9 months soon. I am sure Dada will get some pics of me soon.

Love and Baby kisses,
Chloe Marie

Pictures by Aunt Mel

We went to see Aunt Mel and Uncle Jeremy last night and picked up the pictures that Aunt Mel took of me a couple of weeks ago. They turned out really nice. I love to have my picture taken and I think I am very photogenic. Here are a couple that she took:

I love having nakkie time. It is so much fun!

I am just so darn cute!

This is the only time I wore this outfit. It is already too small.

Here is my Dada kissing my feet. My feet are so ticklish. I laugh so hard when Dada kisses my feet. He is so fun!

Thank God for thumbs. I never have to leave home without MY pacifier

Here is my Mama and me.

Here is the Barnett Family.

Mama is a SLACKER!

SO my mama is a slacker. She hasn't updated my blog is a long time. So here she goes:
Food: I love to eat. I will eat veggies, fruit and turkey, but chicken with anything is disgusting. Chicken makes me gag. Fruit puffs and Veggie puffs are AWESOME! I love to drink water out of my sippy cup too. It is so much fun being a big girl.

Teeth: I have my 2 bottom teeth in and my 2 top teeth are starting to poke through. Everything goes in my mouth!

I am crawling up a storm and I also like to pull myself up and stand. Mama and Dada have to babyproof the house now. I know how to open the cabinets on the entertainment center all by myself, and everytime I open them, I hear the wood say "NO, NO". It is the weirdest thing. I love to pull myself up in my crib and laugh. It is so much fun. I love to talk. I will say "Dada, Mama, Yeah" and just about anything else that comes out. Gramma and Grampa are trying to get me to say their names, yeah right! That will be awhile.

As I am sure you read on my Dada's blog, he was out of town last week. He left on Sunday night and wasn't coming home until Thursday night. Mama had a procedure done on Wednesday morning (it went well) and Dada surprised us and came home Wednesday afternoon. He really missed us! Mama really misses Dada when he is gone. She actually has to sleep with a comforter because, as she states it, her furnace isn't laying next to her to keep her warm at night. So Dada came home and I fell asleep around 9pm and at midnight I woke up with my first ear infection. I cried (screamed) all night long and nothing soothed me. Dada and Mama took turns, but the moment they laid me in my crib, the screaming started again. On Thursday, my dada took me to see Dr Chaten and she said that I had an ear infection in my left ear, but my right ear looked great. She put me on Amoxicilian and I am feeling much better. I am again sleeping through the night.

I am still small and petite. I am almost 8 months old now and am just now getting into 6-9 month clothes. I still have a pair of jeans that are 0-3 months and I can STILL wear them.

My cousin Mason makes me laugh so hard. Mason gets to come over everyday to play with me for a couple of hours. We have so much fun together. Plus Nana gets to see her 2 favorite grandkids. We bring smiles to her face. Now that I think about it, we bring smiles to everyones faces.

Last weekend, I went to a baby shower for Dada and Mama's friends, Drew and Julie Thompson. Drew's dad, Don, was taking pictures of Julie opening her presents and his 2 granddaughters, Madison and Mackenzie, and of course, ME! Everytime I saw him look at me with his camera, I was smiling and being a ham! I love having my pictures taken. Julie got a lot of nice presents, but they still won't spill the beans about what they are having. Mama is trying to pry it out of them, but they are keeping their mouths shut. It won't be long and we will find out. Congrats Julie and Drew!!!!

Love and Kisses to all,
Chloe Marie

Ice Cream Is Good!

I love ice cream and DILLY BARS. Although I can't eat chocolate yet, mommy and daddy let me eat ice cream. It is so good. You can see me eating my dilly bar at my daddy's blog...click on the link to Dada's blog.

And My First Word Is....

That's right folks..I have said my first word and it is "DADADADA". I love to say Dada's name. I think he loves it too. Mommy and Dada are back from Vegas and I don't want to let them out of my sight. I missed them alot, but I got to spend a lot of time with my Gramma and Grampa and Uncle Ben, and also Aunt Traci, Uncle Ninny and Cousin Mason and Nana. I had a lot of fun, but I still missed mommy and dada.

I got my new car seat tonight. It is very comfortable.

And I am starting to crawl!!! Watch out Kya, HERE I COME!!!
